Privacy Policy

Beta preview — last updated May 2026. This document should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel.

Doctors Aid processes personal information in connection with medical practice management, patient engagement, and platform administration. We design our systems with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) in mind.

What we collect

Depending on the portal you use, we may process account credentials, professional verification data, practice details, appointment and clinical workflow data, and support correspondence. We collect only what is needed to provide the service.

How we use information

  • To operate the doctor, patient, and admin portals
  • To verify clinicians and manage access
  • To maintain security, audit trails, and service reliability
  • To respond to support requests

Sharing and subprocessors

We do not sell personal information. Limited subprocessors (for example hosting, email, or speech/AI services where enabled) are used under contractual safeguards appropriate to the data involved.

Your rights

Data subjects may request access, correction, or deletion where POPIA applies, subject to clinical record-keeping obligations retained by the responsible healthcare organisation.
